New York Based Wegmans Picks Up Major Award From Forbes

Once again Rochester, New York based Wegmans has picked up a major award.

Wegmans was once again named one of the best places to work in 2024 according to Forbes Magazine.

They were named the 6th best overall place to work and the #1 retail store to work for. Wegmans was the 2nd best place to work for in New York State coming in behind American Express who have its headquarters in New York City.

Wegmans is the only New York State based company to make it into the Top 10 for best places to work in Retail.

While Wegmans calls Rochester home, they over the years have expanded outside of New York State.

They currently operate 109 stores in eight states along the East Coast. Wegmans has stores in New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey,  Maryland,  Massachusetts,  Virginia, North Carolina, Delaware, and the District of Columbia.

Wegmans has been on the Forbes list of best places to work since the list was first published in 1988 and has been in the Top 10 since 2016.
