New York Verizon Customers Could Be Owed Money

Verizon recently settled a $100 million class action lawsuit and now they might owe you some money.

Without admitting any wrongdoing, Verizon settled the class action lawsuit over monthly administration fees that the lawsuit claimed were "unfair and not adequately disclosed"

If you were a Verizon Wireless user between 2016 and 2023 you might be eligible for up to $100 from the settlement.

You have several choices regarding the class action lawsuit according to the website set up for the payout.

YOU CAN FILE A CLAIM TO RECEIVE A PAYMENT

You can file a claim by April 15, 2024, to receive a payment from the settlement. The amount of the payment will be determined by how many people choose to file a claim.

YOU CAN DO NOTHING

If you do nothing, you will not receive a payment and you also give up the right to sue Verizon about the issues in this lawsuit at a later date.

YOU CAN OPT OUT OF THE CLAIM

If you choose to opt-out, you would receive no payment from the settlement, but you would retain the right to sue Verizon about the issues in this lawsuit at a later date. To opt-out, you must mail a signed request for exclusion by February 20, 2024.
