UPS has announced that they come together with the teamster union that represents UPS workers on an agreement that will avoid a strike.
Many online retailers and shoppers were worried that a strike would affect delivery time and could cause issues with online buying.

According to CNBC, the agreement calls for pay raises for both Full and Part-time workers.
Existing part-time workers will get a raise to at least $21 an hour, if workers approve the new contract, the union said. Part-time pay was a sticking point in negotiations. Full-time workers will average $49 an hour. Current workers will get $2.75 more an hour this year and $7.50 an hour more during the five-year contract.
The new deal will now be sent out to be approved by over 300,000 members of the union and if it is passed, it would prevent avoid a planned strike starting on July 31st.
If the new deal is not passed by workers, there is still a chance that a strike could happen.
The new deal is worth around $30 billion dollars.
