CONFIRMED: 4th Tornado This Month In New York State

The National Weather Service in Binghamton announced that they confirmed another tornado touched down this week in New York State.

This tornado happened on Sunday morning and was confirmed to be an EF-1 tornado.

We are now at four total confirmed tornadoes this year in New York State. Here is a look at where the tornadoes touched down in New York.

June 9th - An EF-1 Tornado was confirmed in Great Valley, New York

June 11th - An EF-1 Tornado was confirmed in Beekmantown, New York

June 22nd - An EF-1 Tornado was confirmed in Clark Mills, New York. Three people were killed in that tornado.

June 22nd - An EF-1 Tornado was confirmed in Clinton, New York.

2024 Record Year For Tornadoes In New York State

It seems like 2025 is picking right up where 2024 left off. A record number of tornadoes were confirmed last year. Overall, there were 32 confirmed tornadoes in 2024.
