Top Baby Names Of 2010!

Once upon a time, John and Mary were likely among the most popular baby names around!  But now, each year we see names come and go...  sometimes something old is new again.  This year, Sophia took the top honor for girls' names, knocking Isabella to the number two spot.   In boys' names, Aiden held on to first place for the sixth year in a row.

Olivia, Emma and Chloe round out the top five for the girls, with Abigail being the only newcomer to the top ten.   The boys finished up the top five with Jacob, Jackson, Ethan and Jayden.  Liam climbed up from number 23 to the number 10 spot this year.  Sophia is a form of the Greek Sophie, meaning wisdom.  Aiden is Irish and means "little fire."  The entire list can be viewed at babyCenter.com.  What's your favorite?
