The nasty weather returns today in Western New York.

After a couple of really nice days, Mother Nature is bringing back the rain along with some thunderstorms and possible hail.

Hazardous Weather For Western New York

Today looks like it will be a very rainy day with the brunt of the latest storm system moving across Western New York later tonight and into Friday. The National Weather Service in Buffalo has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for all of Western New York from 7 am Thursday until 7 am on Friday.

There is a chance we could see severe Thunderstorms along with possible large, damaging hail within that 24 hour period.

Weekend Weather Outlook For Western New York

While we will be dealing with rain over the next couple of days, will we get the chance to dry out over the weekend? Saturday looks like it will be another rainy day with showers expected early in the morning and then in the afternoon.

Sunday is shaping up to be the nicest day of the week. We are looking at partly sunny skies with a high of 61. While we will see some sunshine, we will have temperatures that fall below the average for this time of year.

When Will We Get Nice Summer Weather In Western New York?

Peeking ahead to the long-range forecast, the next round of nice and sunny weather in Western New York looks like it might be here until the beginning of June. We are not expected to get a high temperature above 70 until after June 1st.
