This Concert Venue In WNY Is About To Become Very Popular
The summer concert season is pretty much over by this point in Western New York, but it's always fun to look forward to next year. It's especially good since we hopefully will have a full spring and summer of outdoor concerts to look forward to; after the pandemic took away all off 2020 and a chunk of 2021.
If you remember Jam In The Valley, and I'm sure most everyone does, there's a concert venue that is also in the country that is sure to grow in popularity over the next few years in Western New York. It gives off the same vibe as Jam In The Valley.
It's called Cockaigne Resort and is located in Cherry Creek. It's roughly an hour drive south from Buffalo.
Cockaigne has food, drinks, camping, ski slope, and also a newly renovated concert venue.
I went to the Jon Langston concert back in late August and it was my first time down there for a show. I was blown away.
The stage sits next to the lodge and looks over a huge property, with a ski slope off in the distance and there is plenty of room for people. The grounds and food was terrific as well.
The concert series they have there are new and talking with people who went to the Jon Langston show I did on August 27th, this venue will only grow in popularity.
I've said it time and time again: summer concerts in Western New York are unmatched. It doesn't get unbearably hot here but warm enough to be comfortable. This is the exact kind of concert venue people adore.
