SHOCKING: Western New York Restaurant Closing After 40 Years
After 40 years, a well-known restaurant in Amherst is set to close it doors.
The owners of The Grapevine Restaurant located on Dick Road announced that they would be closing down.

Tom and Liza Pane, are retiring after owning the restaurant for 41 years.
“Our family business has had so many awesome experiences in the community, and it brings us great satisfaction,” the Pane family said in a release Monday. “We want to say thank you to everyone who dined with us, whether you have been dining with us for years or just now found us. We are grateful for your continued support and loyalty that you have brought us.”
This is the second long-time business to close its doors over the past couple of weeks in Western New York.
Anyone who has a gift card to The Grapevine can be reimbursed at The Grapevine Banquets until December 30th.

It was just last weekend that Save-A-Lot in Lancaster closed it doors after 20+ years in business.
There have been some rumors that a Dash's or other grocery store could move into that area where Save-A-Lot is but nothing has been confirmed.

The good news is that there are still several Save-A-Lot locations in Western New York. The closest one to the Village of Lancaster is in West Seneca on the corner of Union and French roads.
