Not long ago we learned that Disney and Marvel had plans for a C-3PO prequel comic that would explain how the endearing droid got that red arm in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Episode VIII doesn’t arrive until 2017, so if you can’t wait that long to find out why C-3PO has a weird new appendage, Star Wars Special: C-3PO #1 has your answer. And although this first look at the upcoming comic doesn’t really shed any light on the matter, it does give you a nice sneak peek.

Back in 1997, George Lucas re-released the original Star Wars trilogy in digitally altered “special editions,” and asserted that these were the only “true” editions of the classic films. While we wait for something that may never come, one anonymous group has uncovered an original 35mm print and cleaned it up.

Disney to Face Criminal Charges Over Harrison Ford’s ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ Injury
Back in June of last year, Harrison Ford was injured on the set of Star Wars: The Force Awakens when the door of the Millennium Falcon fell, dislocating his ankle and breaking his leg in two places. The production was put on hold for six months while Ford recuperated and director J.J. Abrams would later say of the incident, “Once we knew that Harrison was going to be okay, we all realized this was this greatest gift to the movie.” Abrams, and his bosses at Lucasfilm and Disney, may be disagreeing with that sentiment today as officials in London have brought four criminal charges against the Star Wars: The Force Awakens production company.
