The current plan for the next ‘Ghostbusters’ film is the all-female reboot, which will be directed by Paul Feig (‘Bridesmaids’). Rejoice! While we've known for a while that 'Bridesmaids' director Paul Feig would be helming the upcoming female-centric 'Ghostbusters' reboot, today we have another development: not only is Feig directing the reboot, which will definitely be a separate entity from the original 'Ghostbusters' films, but the project will re-team him with Katie Dippold, who wrote the screenplay for Feig's buddy cop comedy 'The Heat.' This is pretty much the best news since, well, the news that we're getting an all-female 'Ghostbusters' movie.

I was as shocked as you (maybe) were when I found out that Paul Ruebens -- better known as Pee Wee Herman -- is 62 years old today. To further my feeling ancient, I also learned that one of the best movies of all time (IMHO) is turning 30 this holiday weekend. ...

In early 1984, the team behind ‘Ghostbusters’ was fairly confident that they had a hit. Test screenings had gone well, but for director Ivan Reitman, something was missing. What Reitman wanted was a song, only 20 seconds or so in length, near the opening of the film as the then soon-to-be Ghostbusters -- Peter Venkman (Bill Murray), Ray Stantz (Dan Aykroyd) and Egon Spengler (Harold Ramis) –- enter the New York Public Library.

With the passing of Harold Ramis, we were hoping that it would also put to rest the possibility of a third 'Ghostbusters' film. But Sony announced that they are going forward with 'Ghostbusters 3,' and now director Ivan Reitman has clarified they plan to start within the next year, though he will no longer be on board as the director.

With the passing of Harold Ramis, it seemed another monkey wrench had been thrown into the plans of the long rumored 'Ghostbusters 3,' which co-writer and star Dan Aykroyd has been working on for over twenty years. Now it's been revealed that commerce trumps tragedy as Sony and director Ivan Reitman are definitely moving forward with the project.

‘Saturday Night Live’ Review: “Lady Gaga”
Lady Gaga returns to the 'SNL' stage tonight as both host and musical guest! No surprise there, since Gaga's success is largely thanks to her ability to perform. She can sing, she can dance, and she really knows how to work a stage ... but can she, you know, act? We saw a little of what she can do last time around, but this week 'SNL' puts her talents to the test and gives her a show all her own.
