Why Is early Detection Of Breast Cancer Important?
If Breast Cancer is found early, there are more treatment options and even a better chance for survival. Early detection includes a physical examination by your physician, a self breast exam and a mammogram. Women age 20-39, a clinical breast exam by your physician should be performed. If not, ask for it. It should be done at least every 3 years, unless you are at high risk.

Every day, cells in your body divide, grow and die. Most of the time cells divide and grow in an orderly manner. But sometimes cells grow out of control. This kind of growth of cells forms a mass or lump called a tumor.  Tumors are either Benign, or not cancerous or they are Malignant and are cancerous. These cancerous tumors develop in the breast and are called Breast Cancer.
