With the divorce rate between 40 and 50% in the United States, you might find yourself at a wedding for someone you used to be married to.

So the big question is, would you go to an EX's wedding?

Should You Go To An Ex's Wedding?

A friend of mine recently got a wedding invitation to a wedding in November that is for his ex-girlfriend. He dated her for 4 years, and they split up 3 years ago.

They didn't have any kids together and kept in touch through social media and texts for birthdays and holidays.

He knew she was engaged and getting married soon, but didn't think he would be invited to the wedding. His ex never asked him about it before the invitation came in the mail.

He is on the fence about going to the wedding. While they were cordial after the break-up, they weren't really friends.

He also never met the soon-to-be groom, so he would be at the wedding surrounded by a lot of people he had never met before.

I think it would be weird if he went. We posed the question on social media, and it looks like a majority of people are with me and wouldn't go to their ex's wedding.
