Police are now asking for the public's help in catching a gunman who claimed the life of a 3-year-old boy and wounded his 7-year-old sister.

Buffalo Police and WNY Crimestoppers are offering a reward of up to $7500 for any information on the June 21st shooting that claimed the life of 3-year-old Ramone Carter and injured his 7-year-old sister.

Both children were hit by wayward bullets while playing at a family gathering on Friday night.


According to the police report, Carter was struck by a bullet fired that night. He was not the intended target of the shooting nor was his sister.

Buffalo Mayor Bryon Brown spoke to the media over the weekend and gave details about the shooting.
