2 Popular Businesses Opening New Locations At Canalside
Finally, it looks like the Buffalo temperatures are cooperating with us, getting us excited to have some summer fun.
Although Buffalo is filled with fun places to go and things to do during the summer, the waterfront areas of Canalside and Outer Harbor have some of the most popular places to go. From biking through Lakeside Park, watching massive ships sail through the Naval Park, renting a paddle boat, nighttime fireworks and so much more - Buffalo’s waterfront area is a great place to spend time on a beautiful summer day.

Now, we have two more things to include during our summer visits to Canalside and Outer Harbor, and we can’t wait!
Popular Buffalo Brewery Opening New Location In Canalside
With beers like their noted IPA and Loganberry Wit, along with their menu of burgers, sandwiches and wings, it’s no wonder that Resurgence Brewing Co.’s taproom on Chicago Street in Downtown Buffalo is always packed, and the brewery’s newly announced location at Canalside is sure to be as well.
Buffalo Business First reports that Resurgence will be taking over the old Clinton’s Dish location at Canalside for at least the next year, making it a great spot to grab one of their beers, a Blackbird Cider, or a canned cocktail by the waterfront. Like their other location, they’ll also grub like burgers, sausages, and salads.
The bad news is that the brewery is ditching their summer popup in Delaware Park to focus on the new spot in Canalside. But still - sweet news!
Speaking of sweet…
Famous Ice Cream Spot Is Coming To Buffalo’s Waterfront
What warm summer day at Canalside is complete without treating yourself to some delicious ice cream? If you agree, you’ll be thrilled to know that Nick Charlap’s is also making their Canalside debut this summer.
The popular ice cream chain already has locations in Hamburg, Boston, West Seneca, Angola, & Kenmore, and they’ll be adding a smaller, 6th spot in a shipping container on the Central Wharf Boardwalk near the corner Prime and Perry streets (by the beer garden).
