Employees Of Red Lobster In New York Could Land Here

Reb Lobster announced that it shut down over 40 stores across the country amidst possible bankruptcy.

Several of those stores were in Buffalo, New York. and Orlando and Jacksonville, Flordia.

Many of the stores were labeled "Temporary Closed" on the food chain's website.

But another restaurant is taking advantage of the closings to help with its own employee staffing problems.

According to several posts on social media, some employees at Denny's have posted help wanted signs next to the closed signs on the doors of Red Lobster.

It kind of makes sense that Denny's is looking to take the employees from Red Lobster. The former CEO of Reb Lobster was recently hired to be the new CEO of Denny's.

Denny’s board has appointed Kelli Valade as CEO and president, effective June 13. She takes over for CEO John Miller, who’s leaving his position on August 3rd.

Reb Lobster announced they were in financial trouble when their "All You Can Eat" shrimp promotion caused the company to lose over $12 million dollars in the 4th quarter of 2023.
