Record Warmth Possible Today In Western New York
A major weather font is expected to bring some very warm weather to Western New York with the possibility of setting a new record high.
With the rain and snowmelt, flooding could be an issue around Western New York. The National Weather Service in Buffalo has issued a Lakeshore Flooding Warning for Erie and Chautauqua counties. The warning begins at 10 pm today and goes until 1 pm on Monday afternoon.

Now would be a great time to make sure your sump pump is working because chances are that it will be working overtime over the next 24-48 hours.
After this brief warm-up, temperatures are expected to return to normal as we head into the New Year. Highs in the 20s with some snow is on the way as we get into the first week of 2025.
