If you think that it has been a very wet start to Spring, you would be 100% right.

There have been more days filled with precipitation than not.  Most cities in New York have received some amount of precipitation more than 50% of the time so far this Spring.

So far this Spring Syracuse has had the most days of rain with rain on 56% of the days.

Buffalo and Binghamton were just behind Syracuse with just over half, 51%, of days with some sort of precipitation.

Albany has been the driest city so far this Spring. The capital of New York has only had 39% of days with rain this Spring.


 

 

Even though it has rained a majority of the time across parts of the state, there are still some locations abnormally dry for this time of year.  

We will see some scattered showers on Friday, with more rain expected across the state towards the middle of next week.
