Price Of Pizza At Amusement Park In New York Shocks Social Media

In 2024 it seems like EVERYTHING costs more but sometimes the price of an item is so outrageous that the whole internet comes together and agrees.

If you go out at all you know that it costs a lot to do anything. From the cost of tickets and service fees to the cost of a cold one or drink to the cost of food.

We all expect to pay a little more when we are out somewhere. There is no illusion that getting a beer and some food at the concert or amusement park will cost more than getting it at the local burger joint in town.

But the price that is being charged by Darien Lake for is a slice of pizza and a side of fries or garlic knots has the internet up in arms.

According to the Facebook post, the price of a pizza slice meal is $16.99. Yes, $17 for a slice of pizza, and a side.

$17 is the price most people pay for a whole pizza! I get that Darien Lake needs to make money and I know that food will cost more when I am in the park, but $17 for a slice of pizza and a side is a bit much.

Think about it, if there 6 slices in a pizza, Darien Lake would be charging over $100 for a whole pizza and some fries or chips.

Of course, this is on top of paying for the ticket to get inside.

I am all about companies making money, but not every company needs to have record profits. Maybe charge just $7.99 and make a small profit instead of charging $16.99 and hoping for record profits!
