Million Dollar Winning Powerball Ticket Sold In New York

Monday’s Powerball drawing turned out to be very lucky for several New York residents.

The New York State Lottery announced that one ticket matched all 5 numbers but missed out on the Powerball and won $1 million dollars. That ticket was sold at the gas station 53 ROUTE 59 in Nyack, New York.

This is the second Million dollar winning lottery ticket sold in New York State within the past seven days. There was a million dollar winning Mega Millions lottery tickets sold from this past Friday's drawing.

Now for people who don't live near that gas station, don't toss away those Powerball tickets just yet. The New York State Lottery also announced that there were four other tickets sold in New York that matched 4 out of 5 numbers and had the Powerball number, which means they each won $50,000.

The winning numbers from Monday's Powerball drawing were: 18-19-2728-45 with a Powerball number of 09.

No one claimed the grand prize jackpot, which means Wednesday's Powerball drawing is now worth $435 million dollars.

You don't have to wait until Wednesday for another shot at becoming a multi-millionaire. Tonight's Mega Millions jackpot is at $377 million dollars.
