Two $100,000 Powerball Winners In New York State

Last night's Powerball drawing turned out to be very lucky for several lottery players in New York State.

The New York State Lottery announced there were several "Big Money" winning Powerball tickets sold in New York State.

There were 4 3rd-place winning Powerball tickets in New York State from last night's drawing. Those tickets matched four out of five numbers and also had the Powerball number. Two of those tickets won $50,000 each, while the other two tickets had the Powerplay and won $100,000 each.

There were also 259 4th-place winning tickets sold in New York. These tickets matched four out of five numbers but missed the Powerball number. 227 of those tickets won $100, while the other 32 had the Powerplay, which doubled the winnings to $200.

730 5th-place winning Powerball tickets were also sold in New York State last night. Those tickets matched three out of five numbers and had the Powerball number. 669 of those tickets won $100 each. The other 61 had the Powerplay and won $200.

Here were the winning numbers from last night's Powerball drawing: 3-16-29-61-69 with a Powerball of 22.

Did Anyone Win The Powerball Grand Prize jackpot?

There was no winning ticket sold from last night's Powerball drawing. There hasn't been a winner in the past 41 drawings, making the jackpot for Saturday's drawing one of the largest in Powerball history. The jackpot at the time of this writing is $1.7 Billion dollars.
