Monday's Powerball jackpot of $1.10 Billion dollars drew thousands of players and ended up with several winners in New York State.

The New York State Lottery announced that one of the 12 2nd place winning tickets sold from last night's Powerball drawing was sold in New York State.

Powerball Winners In New York State

There was one 2nd place winning ticket sold in New York from last night's Powerball drawing. That ticket matched all five numbers but missed the Powerball number to take home the $1 million dollar prize.

On top of that winner, there were also 9 3rd-place winning tickets sold in New York as well. These tickets matched four out of five numbers and also had the Powerball number to win $50,000.

There were also 204 4th-place winning tickets sold in New York from Monday's Powerball drawing. Those tickets matched four out of five numbers but missed the Powerball number. 84 of those tickets won $100 while the other 20 had the Powerplay and won $300 each.

Here were the winning numbers from Monday's Powerball drawing: 8-23-25-40-53 with a Powerball of 05.

Did Anyone Win The $1.10 Powerball Jackpot?

There was no grand prize winner from Monday's Powerball drawing. That means the jackpot for Wednesday's drawing is now up to $1.30 billion dollars. That jackpot is the 5th largest in Powerball history.

The lump sum payout after taxes would be around $589.0 million.
