“Big Money” Winning Powerball Tickets In New York

Monday's Powerball drawing left a couple of lottery players in New York very happy.

The New York State Lottery announced that there were two "Big Money" winning 3rd place tickets sold in the state from Monday's drawing.

Those tickets matched all five numbers but missed the Powerball number and won $50,000 each.

There were also 19 4th-place winning tickets sold in New York. Those tickets matched four out of five numbers but missed the Powerball number. Each one of those tickets won $100.

There were also 33 5th-place winning tickets sold in New York State. These tickets matched three out of five numbers and also had the Powerball number. 32 of these tickets won $100, while one of them had the Powerplay and won $500.
