Last night's Powerball drawing was very lucky.

According to the New York State Lottery, there were 9 2nd place $1 million winning tickets sold from last night's drawing.

Each one of those tickets matched all five numbers but missed the Powerball. Those winning tickets were sold in California, Florida, Illinois, Massachusetts, and Nebraska. One ticket sold in Texas had the Powerball and won $2 million.

There was also a "Big Money" winning ticket sold in New York from Wednesday's Powerball drawing.

Powerball Winners In New York State

There was one 3rd-place winning ticket sold in New York from last night's Powerball drawing. That ticket matched four out of five numbers and also had the Powerball and won $50,000.

There were also 33 4th-place winning tickets sold in New York. Those tickets matched four out of five numbers but missed the Powerball. 28 of the tickets won $100, while 5 of the tickets had the Powerplay and won $200.

On top of all those winners, there were also 103 5th-place winning tickets. Those tickets matched three out of five numbers and also had the Powerball. 92 of those tickets won $100 while 11 of them had the Powerplay and won $200.

Wednesday's Winning Powerball Numbers

Here were last night's winning Powerball numbers: 5-9-25-28-69 with a Powerball of 05.

Did Anyone Win The Powerball Grand Prize Jackpot?

Even with all these winners, there was no grand prize winner from last night's Powerball drawing. That means the jackpot is now up to 234 million for Saturday Night's drawing.

The Powerball is held every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday night at 11 pm.
