This week has been a lucky week for Powerball players. The New York State Lottery announced that another "Big Money" winning ticket was sold in the state, this time from Wednesday's drawing.

Powerball Winners In New York State

There was one 3rd-place winning ticket sold in New York from Wednesday's Powerball drawing. That ticket matched four out of five numbers and had the Powerball number and took home the 3rd place prize of $50,000.

There were also 33 4th-place winning tickets sold in New York. Those tickets matched four out of five numbers but missed the Powerball number. 25 of those tickets won $100, while seven of them had the Powerplay, which tripled the prize, so they won $300 each.

On top of those winners, there were also 75 5th-place winning tickets sold in New York. Those tickets matched three out of five numbers and had the Powerball number as well. 68 of those tickets won $100 each, while seven had the Powerplay and won $300 each.

Did Anyone Win The Powerball Last Night?

There was no grand prize winner from Wednesday's Powerball drawing. Since no one claimed the jackpot, it will roll over to Saturday's drawing. The jackpot for that Powerball drawing is now up to $350 million dollars.

That jackpot could be one of the largest ever won by a New York State resident. The current record is $476 million dollars which was won back in 2023.
