$50,000 Winning Powerball Ticket Sold In New York

There was another "Big Money" winning Powerball ticket sold in New York.

According to the New York State Lottery, there was a 3rd-place winning ticket sold in New York from Monday night's Powerball drawing.

Powerball Winners In New York State

The 3rd place winning ticket in New York matched four out of five numbers and had the Powerball number to win the $50,000 prize.

On top of that "Big Money" winning ticket, there were also 25 4th-place winning tickets sold in New York State. These tickets matched four out of five numbers but missed the Powerball number. 22 of these tickets won $100 each while 3 others had the Powerplay and won $200 each.

There were also 69 5th place winning tickets sold in New York from Monday's Powerball drawing. Those tickets matched three out of five numbers and had the Powerball number. 54 of those tickets won $100 while 15 of those tickets had the Powerplay and won $200.

Here were the winning numbers from Monday's Powerball drawing: 8-11-28-33-42 with a Powerball of 02.

Did Anyone Win The Powerball Jackpot?

There was no grand prize winning ticket sold from last night's Powerball drawing. There were two 2nd place winning tickets sold, with each one of those tickets win $1 million dollars. Those tickets were sold in Georgia and California.

Since no one won the grand prize, the jackpot for the next Powerball drawing is now up to $325 million dollars. The Powerball is drawn every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday night at 11 pm.
