“Big Money” Winning Powerball Ticket Sold In New York

There was one "Big Money" winning Powerball ticket sold in New York State on Saturday night. That ticket matched four out of five numbers and also had the Powerball number and took home the 3rd place prize of $50,000.

There were also 25 4th-place winning tickets sold in New York State. Those tickets matched four out of five numbers but missed the Powerball number. 22 of those tickets won $100, while three of those tickets had the Powerplay and won $300.

There were also 69 5th-place tickets sold in New York. Those tickets matched three out of five numbers and also had the Powerball number. 63 of those tickets won $100. The other three tickets had the Powerplay and won $300.

There was no grand prize winner from Saturday's Powerball drawing. That means the grand prize for Monday's drawing is now up to $308 Million dollars. The Powerball is drawn every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday night at 11 pm.
