There are some very happy Powerball players this morning in New York after last night's Powerball drawing. The New York State Lottery announced that there were four "Big Money" winning tickets sold in New York from Wednesday's drawing.

Powerball Winners In New York State

There were four 3rd-place winning tickets sold in New York State. Those tickets matched four out of five numbers and also had the Powerball number. Those tickets won $50,000 each.

There were also 78 4th-place winning tickets sold in New York. Those tickets matched four out of five numbers but missed the Powerball number. 65 of those tickets won $100 each, while the other 13 had the Powerplay and won $300 each.

214 5th-place winning tickets were also sold in New York State from last night's Powerball drawing. Those tickets matched three out of five numbers and also had the Powerball number. 182 of those tickets won $100, while the other 32 had the Powerplay and won $300 each.

Here were the winning Powerball numbers from last night: 7-8-15-19-28 with a Powerball number of 03.

Did Anyone Win Last Night's Powerball Drawing?

There was no grand prize winning winner from last night's drawing. There were four 2nd-place winners of $1 million. Those tickets were sold in California, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and South Carolina.
