It was a disappointing Powerball drawing for lottery players in New York State last night. The New York State Lottery announced that there was only one $1 million ticket sold, and it wasn't in New York. In fact, there were no "Big Money" winners in New York from Monday's drawing.

Powerball Winners In New York State

There were 48 4th-place winning tickets sold in New York State from Monday's drawing. Those tickets matched four out of five numbers but missed the Powerball number. 41 of those tickets won $100, while the other seven had the Powerplay and won $200 each.

There were also 133 5th-place winning tickets sold in New York State. Those tickets matched three out of five numbers and also had the Powerball number. 121 of those tickets won $100 each, while the other 21 had the Powerplay and won $200 each.
