Four “Big Money” Powerball Tickets Sold In New York State

Monday's Powerball drawing was a lucky one for several lottery players in New York State.

The New York State Lottery announced that there were four "Big Money" winning tickets sold in the state from last night's drawing.

Powerball Winners In New York State

There were four 3rd-place winning tickets sold in New York State. Those tickets matched four out of five numbers and also had the Powerball number to win $50,000.

There were 27 4th-place winning tickets sold as well. Those tickets matched four out of five numbers but missed the Powerball number. 23 of those tickets won $100, while the other four had the Powerplay, which tripled their winning amount to $300.

On top of those winners, there were also 70 5th-place winning tickets sold in New York. Those tickets matched three out of five numbers and had the Powerball number. 60 of those tickets won $100, while the other 10 had the Powerplay and won $300.

Here were the winning numbers from last night's Powerball drawing: 15-46-61-63-64 with a Powerball number of 01.

Did Anyone Win The Grand Prize Jackpot?

There was no grand prize winning ticket sold from last night's Powerball drawing. There were two 2nd place winning tickets sold in Arizona and Texas. Each one of those tickets won $1 million dollars.

Since no one claimed the grand prize, the jackpot for Wednesday's drawing is a New York State record-setting $643 million dollars.
