4 “Big Money” Powerball Winners In New York State

Saturday's Powerball drawing was very good for lottery players in New York State.

The New York State Lottery announced there were plenty of winning tickets sold in New York State from last night's Powerball drawing, including four "Big Money" winners.

Four tickets matched four out of five numbers and also had the Powerball number to win the 3rd place prize of $50,000.

There were also 31 4th-place winning Powerball tickets sold in New York. These tickets matched four out of five numbers but missed the Powerball number. 26 of those tickets won $100, while the other 5 had the Powerplay and won $300.

On top of those tickets, there were also 126 5th-place winning tickets sold in New York State. These tickets matched three out of five numbers and also had the Powerball number. 101 of those tickets won $100, while the other 25 had the Powerplay and won $300.

Did Anyone Win The Grand prize Jackpot From Saturday's Powerball?

There was no grand prize winner from Saturday's drawing. That means the jackpot for Monday's drawing is now up to $605 million dollars. That jackpot would be the largest ever won by a New York State resident by over $125 million dollars. The current record is $476 million dollars.
