There were 11 4th-place winning tickets sold in New York. Those tickets matched four out of five numbers but missed the Powerball number. 9 of those tickets won $100, while 2 other tickets had the Powerplay and won $300.

On top of those tickets, there were also 56 5th-place winning tickets sold in New York. Those tickets matched three out of five numbers and also had the Powerball number to claim the 5th place prize. 49 of those tickets won $100, while 7 of those tickets had the Powerplay, which tripled the prize amount to $300.
