It looks like foodies in the Southtowns will now have a new place to add to their "Must Try" list.

According to a post on their social media, Pierce Ave Bar and Grill will have its grand opening later today.

The restaurant will be open seven days a week from 11 am to 8 pm.

The menu will include burgers, pizzas, wings, and more. They also serve specials and plenty of beers on tap.

Pierce Ave Bar and Grill will offer lunch, dinner, take-out, and catering from their new location.

They are taking over the building of the former Village Pizza & Pints. That restaurant closed back in March of this year after being open for three years.

The owners and operators of Pierce Ave Bar and Grill are David Robida and Greg Kales, who also own Venue and Bottoms Up on Chippewa Street. They have been in the restaurant business for over 35 years.

Pierce Ave Bar and Grill is just one of the new restaurants to open in the Southtowns over the past several months.

I know how a lot of people from the Northtowns don't like to cross over the line into the Southtowns, but if you don't, you are missing out on some great food.
