Why People Picked Cash

The majority of people said that they would prefer cash over a gift this year for Christmas. The number one reason given was that they could use the cash to buy something that they really wanted. I get that. How many times has someone given you a gift, and it turns out it is something that you don't like or would never use? The second top answer was to use the money for bills. Prices of everything are going up, and this Christmas, people just want some help paying the Bills.

Why People Picked A Gift

The main reason for a gift was that the person wanted to feel special. If you get a great gift, something you want or will use, it shows that the gift giver really cares and knows about you. The biggest argument against cash was that it seemed very impersonal and thoughtless. Getting a gift meant the person really thought about you.
