The storm is expected to remain along the eastern part of the state, but as it moves near New York this weekend, some of the rain from the storm could make its way as far west as Buffalo and Rochester. The latest weather forecasts are calling for rain in those cities on Sunday.
With the expected size of the storm, it is also expected to impact travel across the state with rain and wind. This could cause some delays at the major New York airports, so if you are traveling this weekend, you are encouraged to keep an eye out for delays or cancellations.
