It was a big swing and a miss for Powerball players in New York last night.

The New York State Lottery announced that there were no "Big Money" winning tickets sold in New York from Wednesday's Powerball drawing.

The good news is while there were no "Big Money" winners, there were still plenty of winners last night. There were 14th 4th place winning tickets sold in New York with each ticket winning at least $100.

There were also 65 5th-place winning tickets sold in New York. Each one of those tickets matched three numbers, had the Powerball, and won at least $100.

Wednesday's winning Powerball numbers were: 8-12-31-33-38 with a Powerball of 18.

Since there was no grand prize winner from last night's drawing, the jackpot for Saturday's Powerball drawing is up to $89 million dollars.
