It will be another cold start for your Friday morning and parts of New York remain under a frost advisory this morning until 10 am.

The Northern parts of Western New York and counties along Lake Erie and Lake Ontario are under a frost advisory as temperatures remain in the upper 20s and lower 30s this morning.

The good news is that a warm front will bring some above average temperatures this afternoon and into the weekend across the state.

Temperatures will be around 5 to 10 degrees warmer than normal for this time of the year.


 

The warmer than normal weather is expected to last well into next week before another cold blast comes our way as we wrap up the month of October.
