“Big Money” Winning Mega Millions Tickets Sold In New York

There are a couple of happy Mega Millions lottery players in New York State this morning.

The New York State Lottery announced that there were two "Big Money" winning Mega Millions tickets sold in New York from Friday Night's drawing.

Those two tickets matched four out of five numbers and also had the Mega Ball and won the 3rd place prize of $10,000. One of the tickets also had the Megaplier which doubled the prize amount to $20,000.

Friday's winning Mega Millions numbers were: 4-24-32-41-55 with a Mega Ball of 16.

No one won the grand prize jackpot on Friday so the jackpot for Tuesday's drawing is up to $110 million dollars.

The Mega Millions is drawn every Tuesday and Friday nights at 10:59 pm.

Those two tickets were not the only winners from Friday night. There were 104 2nd place winning tickets sold in New York from the Evening drawing of the Take 5 and 74 2nd place winning tickets from the Take 5 Midday drawing.

Those tickets matched four out of five numbers to win the second-place prize.

For the evening drawing, 2nd place winners took home a cash prize of $884 dollars, and the 2nd place winners of the Midday drawing took home a cash prize of $711 dollars.

The winning Take 5 evening numbers were: 1-14-27-31-37

The winning Take 5 midday numbers were: 2-23-24-26-33

The odds of winning the Take 5 2nd place prize is  1 in 3,386.81.

The Take 5 is drawn twice a day at 2:30 pm and 10:30 pm.
