Once again Mother Nature is going to put New York on a weather rollercoaster this week.

Another major storm front is expected to sweep across the state this week and along with it will be some severe lines of thunderstorms and rain showers.

The majority of the bad weather will be in the Western part of the state with Western New York catching much of the rain and severe thunderstorms associated with this storm front.

Even though much of the storm will impact Western New York, a majority of the state will see some rainfall from the Stormfront that will move across the region.

Western New York and parts of Northern New York will be under a slight risk of severe weather. A slight risk means scattered severe thunderstorms are likely in the area but the activity will be short-lived and not widespread.

The rest of the state is under a marginal risk for severe weather which means isolated thunderstorms are likely and they will not be widespread.
