New Angry Birds

I fully admit it. My daughter was the first one to download the Angry Birds app on my smart phone. Then over the weekend I was in a local cell phone store and they had it running on an iPad at the counter and I couldn't stop playing it!  Talk about addictive!  Now this! Rovio on Tuesday released the latest edition of the wildly addictive game, titled Angry Birds Rio. The new version is in connection with the upcoming animated movie 'Rio,' which hits theaters on April 15.

In this installment, the Angry Birds are kidnapped and taken to Rio de Janeiro , where they escape and attempt to save the two stars of 'Rio,' macaws Blu and Jewel.

According to the Rovio press release, the app "can be downloaded from the App Storefor iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad, from the Mac App Store for Mac computers, and for Android devices in the Amazon Appstore."
