Cell Phones - While you don't want to take your cell phone with you all the time, make sure not to leave it in your car for prolonged times during the Summer. The hot temps could cause it to overheat and break.
Canned Food - Once again the heat could cause the can to explode or prolonged exposure to the heat could cause the food to spoil.
Important Documents and Money - During the Summer, you might park somewhere and leave your windows down to keep the heat out. That could make your car easy pickings for thieves to quickly grab and dash with stuff from your glove compartment.
Pets - Yes, some people do this. Vehicles get hot during the summer and they are no place to leave your pet.
Wooden Instruments - The temps and humidity could cause them to warp if they are in the car too long.
Perishable Food - Food spoils much quicker in heat and leaving perishable food in your car could cause it to go bad.
Sunscreen - Leaving sunscreen in your car during the Summer could cause it to go bad and not be as effective in protecting you. You should bring it to your home after using it.
Aersol Cans - Once again heat is not a friend of Aersol cans. Exposure to too much heat could cause it to explode.
Prescription Medicine - Leaving Pills in your car is bad for a couple of reasons. First, the heat could cause them to expire. Secondly, people could steal them. They should be kept at home.
