
Most Of New York State Under Weather Advisory
It will be a wild weather today across New York State today.
Most of the state is under at least one weather advisory for today.
A wind advisory has been issued for parts of Western, Central, and Downstate New York.
The wind advisory will be in place starting at 11 am this morning and should be in place until 4 am on Friday. There will be steady winds of 15-25 miles per hour with gusts ready as high as 50 miles per hour.
A Flood Watch still remains in place for Oswego, Jefferson, and Lewis counties today until 1 pm. Snowmelt along with rain from yesterday and early this morning could cause issues along river and creek banks. There could also be flooding of roads, which could have an impact on your commute. Remember to never try and cross a flooded road, the saying goes, "Don't Drown, Turn Around"

Downstate, there is a Gale warning for all of Long Island and parts of New York City. Strong winds could cause water to violently strike boats and docks causing damage.
The good news is that this weather front is fast moving and should be out of New York by the weekend. We are looking for some chilly weather with temperatures just below average for this time of year, but we could see plenty of sunshine for parts of New York this weekend.
