"Couponing" is nearly becoming a sport.  You may have caught TLC's new show "Extreme Couponing" or maybe you're bombarded with e-mails offering coupons but, like me, never really feel like you have enough time to take on the task of "couponing."  What's a mom (or anyone) to do with our busy schedules?

Why not cut some corners and take advice from someone who's been there and done that?  That someone is Crystal Paine of  MoneySavingMom.com.  Crystal began stretching her dollars when her husband was in law school in hopes of avoiding massive college loans and now years later has become an expert on not only coupons, but both saving the money you have in your wallet and finding new ways to earn a few extra bucks as well.

I've tried a few sites like this before and ended up not using them.  I think this one is different though.  MoneySavingMom.com is loaded with what Crystal calls "Deals, Steals (Freebies) and Coupons", "Money Saving Tips and Frugal Ideas", and there's even sections that list deals at local stores and a coupon data base which helps you search for what your looking for more quickly.  I managed in just a few short minutes to find coupons for everything from Cheerios to Suddenly Salad.  It also pointed me to a website that allowed me to print a coupon for $5 off a $25 purchase at Dollar General.  There were coupons for Barnes and Noble, Starbucks and so much more...  all at your fingertips.  I am beginning to think Crystal knows what she's doing!

Whether you like the idea of being able to spend a few free moments online saving (or earning) a few dollars, or you would like to take this to the extreme, check out MoneySavingMom.com's beginners page - or you can check out Crystal on YouTube with "31 weeks to a better grocery budget."
