The New York State Lottery announced that one "Big Money" winning ticket was sold in the state from Monday Night's Powerball drawing.

The ticket took home the 3rd place prize of $50,000 after it matched four out of five numbers and also had the Powerball.

There was a grand prize winner from Monday's drawing. That ticket was sold in California.
