One of the players that Bills Mafia spent several years cheering for has decided to retire from the NFL.

Morse signed with the Buffalo Bills in 2019 and at the time was the highest paid center in the NFL. He signed a 4 year $44.5 million dollar deal with the Bills.

In 2022 he signed a two-year extension with the Bills worth $19.5 millions dollars. He was released by the Bills at the beginning of last season.

He signed a two-year deal with the Jacksonville Jaguars last season but decided to hang up his cleats after just one year.

During his time with the Buffalo Bills, the Bills never missed the playoffs and won four out of five AFC East Championships.

Morse originally was a 2nd round draft pick by the Kansas City Chiefs in the 2015 NFL draft.

As for the Bills, they signed Connor McGovern in 2023 and moved him into the center spot last season to replace the loss of Morse. The Bills also drafted Sedrick Van Pran-Granger in the 5th round of the NFL draft last year to help with the depth along the offensive line, including the center position.
We could see a lot more moves across the NFL over the next several days as teams have to get under the salary cap ahead of the start of the new league season on March 12th.
