“Big Money” Winning Mega Millions Tickets Sold In New York

There was no grand prize winning ticket sold from last night's Mega Millions drawing but there were some "Big Money" winning tickets sold in New York.

No one walked away with a multi-million dollar payday but three lucky New Yorkers will be cashing in their Mega Millions tickets for $10,000 dollars.

The New York State Lottery announced that three tickets sold in New York matched four out of five numbers and had the Mega Ball. Each one of those tickets took home the 3rd place prize of $10,000 dollars.

Last night's winning Mega Millions numbers were: 2-16-31-57-64 with a Mega Ball of 24

Since no one claimed the grand prize, the jackpot for Friday Night's Mega Millions is now up to $792 Million dollars. That dwarfs the current record for largest lottery jackpot ever won by a New York State resident by over $300 million dollars.

5.$208 Million Dollars

Daniel Bruckner claimed the Mega Millions jackpot winning just a shade over $200 million dollars in December of 2011.

4. $319 Million Dollars

Seven co-workers from Albany pulled their money and had the winning ticket for the Mega Millions. They took home $319 million dollars in 2011.

3. $326 Million Dollars

Harold Diamond held the record for the largest lottery jackpot in New York for seven years. He took home the Mega Millions jackpot in 2014.

2. $432 Million Dollars

This winning Mega Millions ticket was sold in September of 2021. The NY Lottery does not know who owns the tickets.

1. $476 Million Dollars

Johnnie Taylor took home the jackpot from the Mega Millions drawing in April of 2023.
