Tuesday's Mega Millions drawing didn't produce a "Big Money" winner in New York State, but there were plenty of winning tickets sold in the state. The New York Lottery announced that several 2nd place winning tickets were sold in California and New Jersey, but none were sold in New York.

Mega Millions Numbers In New York State

While there were no "Big Money" winning tickets sold in New York from last night's Mega Millions, there were still a lot of winning tickets in the Empire State. There were 19 4th-place winners with those tickets winning between $1000 and $5000 each based on each ticket's Megaplier. Those tickets matched four out of five numbers but missed the Megaball.

There were also 46 5th-place winning Mega Millions tickets sold in New York State. These tickets matched three out of five numbers and also had the Megaball. These tickets won between $400 and $100 each based on each ticket's built-in Megaplier.

Here were the winning numbers from last night's Mega Millions drawing: 17-26-33-45-56 with a Megaball of 19.

Did Anyone Win The Mega Millions Grand Prize Jackpot?

There was no grand prize jackpot winner from Tuesday's Mega Millions drawing. That means that the jackpot for Friday's drawing is now up to $575 million dollars. That jackpot is almost $100 million dollar more than the current New York State record for the largest lottery jackpot ever won by a resident. That record belongs to Johnnie Taylor, who won $476 million dollars with the Mega Millions back in 2023.
