The New York State Lottery announced that there were two "Big Money" third-place winning tickets sold in New York State from Tuesday's Mega Millions drawing.

Those tickets matched four out of five numbers and also had the Megaball to win the 3rd place prize. Both tickets had the built-in Megaplier of 2x the prize amount, so they each won $20,000.

There were also 8 4th-place winning tickets sold in New York. Those tickets matched four out of five numbers but missed the Megaball. Those tickets won between $1000 and $5000 each, depending on the built-in Megaplier.

24 5th-place winning tickets were also sold in New York. Those tickets matched three out of five numbers and also had the Megaball. Those tickets won between $400 and $2000, depending on the built-in Megaplier.
