Several Winning Mega Millions Tickets Sold In New York

The first Mega Millions drawing of May was a very good one for lottery players in New York State.

Several people are waking up with some extra money in their pockets after Friday's Mega Millions drawing.

According to the New York State Lottery, there were no "Big Money" winners from last night's Mega Millions drawing, but there were still plenty of winning tickets sold in New York.

There were 11 4th-place winning tickets sold in New York. Based on the new built-in Megaplier, those tickets won between $1000 and $2500 each. Those tickets matched four out of five numbers but missed the Mega Ball.

There were also 28 5th-place winning Mega Millions tickets sold in New York from Friday's drawing. Those tickets matched three out of five numbers and also had the Mega Ball and won between $400 and $2000 based on the built-in Megaplier.

Was There A Grand Prize Winner From Last Night's Mega Millions?

There was no grand prize-winning ticket sold from Friday's Mega Millions drawing. That means that the jackpot for the next drawing on Tuesday is now up to $90 million dollars.

There hasn't been a grand prize Mega Millions winner since April 18th, 2025. One winning ticket was sold in Ohio, and that ticket won $112 million dollars.
