There were also 18 5th-place winning tickets sold in New York from Tuesday's Mega Millions drawing. Each one of those tickets matched three out of four numbers and also had the Mega ball. Based on the built-in Megaplier, those tickets won between $400 and $2000 each.

According to the New York State Lottery, there was no grand prize winning ticket sold from Tuesday's Mega Millions. There was one 2nd place $2 million dollar winning ticket sold in Virginia, but no grand prize winner. Since no one won the grand prize, the jackpot for Friday's Mega Millions drawing is now up to $80 million dollars.
