Mega Millions Big Money Winner In New York State

Check your Mega Millions tickets this morning. The New York State Lottery announced there was one "Big Money" winning ticket sold in New York from Tuesday's drawing.

That ticket matched four out of five numbers and also had the Megaball to win the 3rd place prize of $10,000.

There were also 32 4th place winning tickets sold in New York State as well. Those tickets matched four out of five numbers but missed the Megaball. Those tickets won $500.

Tuesday's winning Mega Millions numbers were: 14-19-47-52-70 with a Megaball of 06.

No one claimed the grand prize so the jackpot for Friday's Mega Millions drawing is now up to $233 million dollars.

The Mega Millions is drawn every Tuesday and Friday night at 10:59 pm. Tickets will cost you $2 for a regular ticket or $3 for a ticket with the Megaplier which can double, triple, quadruple, or even increase the prize amount by 5 times.

The odds of winning a prize with the Mega Millions are 1 in 24, with the odds of winning the grand prize jackpot being 1 in 302,575,350.

The odds of winning a "Big Money" prize with the Mega Millions is 1 in 12,607,306 to win the 2nd place prize of $1 million dollars and 1 in 931,001 to win the 3rd place prize of $10,000.
